His breadth of experience spans software, hardware and services solutions for SMB, mid-market and Fortune 500 companies. At SMB Group, Sanjeev provides advisory and consulting services focused on cloud computing, managed services, virtualization, storage systems, and business and collaboration applications. He covers both the supply and demand side; analyzing data from vendors, end-users and channel perspectives.

Laurie McCabeLaurie brings more than 30 years of experience in the IT industry to her current role as Cofounder & Partner, SMB Group, which she co-founded in 2010.

Laurie has built widespread recognition for her insights in the small and medium business (SMB) technology market during her career. Prior to SMB Group, Laurie worked in analyst roles as a Partner at Hurwitz & Associates; Vice President of SMB Insights & Solutions at AMI-Partners; and Vice President at Summit Strategies, where her original research of the emerging cloud computing model earned her broad recognition as a thought leader in this area. Laurie’s nine years at Digital Equipment Corporation, including her last role as Director of Market and Competitive Intelligence, provide her with critical experience from the vendor perspective.

Lisa Lincoln

Director, Client Services and Business Development

Lisa Lincoln comes to SMB Group with over 25 years experience in technology sales, account management and digital marketing. With a history that includes a wide range of clients, from SMBs to Fortune 1000, Lisa has earned a reputation as a client-centric professional, with a driven, solutions-oriented approach.

Prior to SMB Group, Lisa worked in digital media as a Strategic Marketing Consultant with Longitude Media, a publisher in the CAD/Engineering market and as a Senior Account Manager at Charter Systems, a regional network systems integrator where she won several awards for product and revenue achievement.

With a background that includes a number of start-ups, Lisa brings a unique appreciation of the needs of SMBs to the table.

Fred Abbott

Fred Abbott manages Valley View Ventures and represents SMB Group to several clients. With over 25 years of experience successfully selling and marketing IT industry analysis to both buyers and sellers of information technology, Fred understands the underlying issues that drive clients to engage IT industry analysis. Fred spent 11 years at Gartner. He was a member of the launch team at Giga and began his career in IT industry analysis with IDC. Fred graduated from Union College in Schenectady, New York, with a B.A. degree in History.
